I’m so excited to cook at Reverie Social Table (Observatory, Cape Town) and the best part is, Chef Julia (the owner and chef patron) is going to cook alongside me! What I love about Julia is that she is so humble and willing to be my ”sous chef” in her own kitchen for the two nights, how lucky am I? I visited Reverie some time back and I was in awe of the venue, her eclectic style and seriously flavourful food, read about it here.
I am also delighted to have Black Elephant Vintners join us for these dinners to guide us through the wine pairing and to share their awesome story. Their wines are stand alone delicious and pair so well with food. BE Vintners’ wine philosophy really resonates with me, ”Our wines represent friendship, community and a genuine partnership. We view it as our privilege to produce real wine for real people”. Thanks to Julia for introducing me to these guys. The wines will also be available for purchase on the two evenings – should you feel the need to stock up 🙂
So if you are in Cape Town and surrounds, be sure to book asap! I look forward to cooking delicious food from the heart. To embrace the last few weeks of winter, my menu is all about the food I love to eat (and cook) and seasonal winter produce.
